BRIEF
For this project we were required to produce a 1 minute stop frame animation. The theme is social issues pertinent to young South Africans.
TARGET AUDIENCE
The project is specifically aimed at young South Africans as these children are our future and should be educated as much as possible and positively influenced inorder to better our country. This animation should serve as a Public Service Announcement.
CONCEPT
In the beginning of this project, I chose the topic of divorce and it hasn’t changed. My original concept was to show how divorce affects the children and not only the parents - this is seen as a negative. My big idea was to portray divorce in a positive light - I honestly didn’t think this was possible! But it is! My key message is that divorce isn’t so bad, look at the bright side you end up with a huge family, two homes, two bedrooms, two birthdays, Easters and Christmases...
